ENERGY STAR Ratings
Energy Homes LLC was established in the spring of 2004. We vowed from the outset to build only ENERGY STAR homes, using ICF concrete forms. In fact, we have even gone so far as to make a pledge to the EPA to build ENERY STAR-qualified homes 100% of the time.
What’s more, we do not build to just meet the ENERGY STAR ratings—we build to exceed them.
Distributor of Choice
To make good on that pledge, we have selected IntegraSpec Central as our block distributor of choice.
IntegraSpec makes it possible for us to build stronger, more durable, and better insulated homes. Additional benefits include: decreased construction costs, ease of construction, low waste, superior sound and fire resistance, and reduced operating/maintenance costs.

Safety Benefits
When it came time for the McGahueys to build a new home, they wanted to make sure that the home they built would stand the test of time—specifically, against tornados, having recently seen one of their neighbor’s homes destroyed by a tornado. IntegraSpec was the only ICF that met all of their expectations. Now they are enjoying comfortable, secure living.
It is also worth noting, in the wake of the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina along the gulf coast, that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has encouraged all those who are planning to rebuild to use better materials, which they say can make a big difference when homes face storms. Their recommendation for foundations and above-grade walls? ICF concrete forms.
